Malang City has many special culinary delights that are worth trying, ranging from meatballs, orem-orem tempeh, to legendary drinks such as coconut milk ice and black sticky rice.

There are many places to eat ice that have been open for decades in Malang. Some of the legendary ice places to eat in Malang , including Es Teler Dempo, Es Santan 68 Pak No, and Es Red Beans Top Ternate.

Talun Ice Depot is located on Jalan Kawi, Kauman, Klojen District. Operates from 09.00 to 18.30 WIB, open every day.

Talun Es Depot has been around since the 1950s with its flagship ice, Es Campur Legenda.

One serving of Es Campur Legenda consists of black grass jelly, dawet, pearl, black sticky rice, fro, pineapple, liquid sugar, sweetened condensed milk and shaved ice. The price for one portion is IDR 15,000. 

2. Es Tawon Kidul Dalem

Es Tawon Kidul Dalem is located at Jalan Zainul Arifin No. 15, Sukoharjo, Klojen District. Operates from 08.00 to 14.30 WIB, open every day.

Es Tawon Kidul Dalem has been established since 1955. The drink menu here consists of Es Tawon, Ice Mix, Es Kacang Tape, and Ice Beans Black Sticky Rice.

One glass of Es Tawon contains black grass jelly, tape, green beans, avocado, pearls, and red syrup then shaved ice. The price per portion is IDR 8,000. 

3. Is Santan 68 Pack No

Es Santan 68 Pak No is located on Jalan Sempu, Kasin, Klojen District. The shop operates from 11.00 to 14.00 WIB, open every day.

Warung Es Santan 68 Pak No has been established since 1968. A glass of ice contains coconut milk, sugar syrup, vanilla, black sticky rice tape, and dawet.

Coconut milk served with white bread topped with red syrup. The price for one portion is affordable, which is IDR 4,000. 

4. Top Ternate Red Bean Ice (Es KTT)

Top Ternate Red Bean Ice is located on Jalan Raya Langsep, Bareng, Klojen District. Operates from 10.00 to 21.00 WIB, open every day.

This KTT Ice Shop has been established since 1975. The drink menu consists of Original Red Bean ice, Double Kacang Original, and Double Chocolate Original Special.

One serving of Es Original Kacang Merah consists of red beans, avocado, and jackfruit, shaved ice, and topped with eight-spice syrup typical of Maluku.

The price per portion starts from IDR 8,500 to IDR 23,000. 

5. Ice Mix Rampal Mr. Dji

Es Campur Rampal Pak DJi is located at Jalan Danau Maninjau Barat No. B2-C17, Sawojajar, Kedungkandang District. Operates from 08.00 to 17.00 WIB, open every day.

Es Campur Rampal Pak Dji has been around since the 1980s with its flagship product, Es Campur.

One serving of Es Campur contains green beans, young coconut shavings, pearls, tape, shaved ice and sweetened condensed milk. The price per portion is IDR 12,000. 

6. It's Teler Dempo

Es Teler Dempo is located at Pujasera Dempo, Jalan Gede, Oro-oro Dowo, Klojen District. Operates from 09.00 to 16.00, open every day except Monday.

Es Teler Dempo has been established since 1987, right behind the Santo Albertus Catholic High School (SMA Dempo). Popular dishes are Es Teler Durian and Mocca Durian.

One serving of Durian Es Teler consists of shaved ice, avocado, jackfruit, durian, young coconut shavings, brown sugar, and sweetened condensed milk.

Meanwhile, the Mocca Durian contains durian, avocado, shaved ice, and is doused with iced mocca syrup. The price per portion starts from IDR 16,000 to IDR 60,000. 

7. Tanimbar Black Glutinous Ice

Tanimbar Black Sticky Rice is located on Jalan Tanimbar, Kasin, Klojen District. Operates from 10.30 to 15.00 WIB, open every day.

Tanimbar Black Sticky Ice Stall is right next to SMKN 4 Malang.

One glass of ice contains coconut milk, red syrup, black sticky rice, dawet, and one piece of white bread sprinkled with a little red syrup. The price per portion is IDR 4,000.
