Tasting the combination of fried banana and honey
The newbie food had the opportunity to visit Bu Nanik's new Pisang Goreng outlet on Wednesday (13/07/2022).
When entering the shop, you can see the officers from cashiers, chefs, to salespeople, busy serving visitors who come.
The owner of Bu Nanik's Fried Banana, Nanik Soelistiowati, gave recommendations for dishes to eat, namely honey fried bananas, coffee, and grilled rice.
In the end, the choice fell to the Kopi Susu Palm sugar variant, which tastes quite good even though it doesn't seem much different from coffee milk in general.
However, the combination of a slightly bitter and sweet coffee taste is indeed suitable when combined with the honey fried banana that is tried.
The five variants are black coffee, milk coffee, palm sugar milk coffee, savory coffee, and palm sugar savory coffee.
"So a few moments before the opening, we conducted a survey with people around, which type of coffee tastes good and what kind of coffee do you want. So many of these variants have been chosen," said Nanik.
Next, The Newbie food tasted the honey fried banana which was still hot, because it had just been removed from the frying pan.
In terms of shape, a honey fried banana is large in size, and dark brown in color.
In the past, Nanik told me that many thought these bananas were black because they were burnt, when in fact the color came from honey that had been heated to caramel.
The banana itself has the right sweet taste, not too sweet but not sour either. Meanwhile, the fried skin feels crispy and the savory taste is also appropriate.
Nanik said that the bananas he produces use a type of ripe plantain. This is to maintain the quality of the honey fried bananas.
Then, The Newbie food m also tried the grilled rice served. There are also five variants, namely chicken grilled rice, tuna, mushrooms, anchovies, and rendang.
Each grilled rice is equipped with side dishes, crackers, and chili sauce. The size of the rice itself is quite large.
It tastes delicious and has the right amount, with spices and a distinctive aroma of grilled rice.
The sambal also has a sufficient level of spiciness to complement the meal.
Unfortunately, this outlet does not yet provide a special place to eat, so visitors who want to buy snacks or souvenirs can only take them home).
But don't worry, Bu Nanik's Pisang Goreng provides online with various partners.
In addition, visitors can also leave the shop, walk a little to the right, and sit while eating at the foodcourt Warung Jajan Bu Nanik Reno-Reno.
