With simple ingredients, you can make it yourself at home. There is a way to make popcorn chicken with flour mixed with other ingredients as a coating.
In addition, there is a marinade made of liquid milk, powdered broth, and finely chopped garlic which makes the chicken more savory.
Popcorn chicken recipe
Ingredients
- 200 grams of chicken filet, cut into small dice
- 100 ml water
- Enough oil for frying
- 100 ml liquid milk
- 2 cloves of garlic, puree
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Broth powder and pepper powder to taste
Coating flour
- 200 grams of wheat flour
- 1 sdt baking powder
- 1 tsp broth powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 sdt onion powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
How to make chicken popcorn
- Mix the diced chicken into the marinade, let stand for 15 minutes until absorbed.
- Add the flour mixture, mix well. Take a tablespoon of coating flour, mix it with water, mix well until it becomes a runny dough.
- Dip chicken in dry coating flour, dip chicken in liquid coating flour. Put it back in the dry coating flour, knead then pinch the chicken so that the flour curls.
