Sisca Soewitomo Launches New Book entitled 30 Menus for 1 Month
Culinary expert and cook Sisca Soewitomo launched the latest recipe book entitled " 30 Menus for 1 Month " on Wednesday (25/5/2022).
This work is the 152nd book written by Sisca since being a cook for more than 50 years.
"I'm always happy because more and more of my friends or fans really want to make similar dishes at home," said Sisca when met by The Newbie Food at the book launch event at Gramedia Palmerah.
Not much different from some previous cookbooks, " 30 Menus for 1 Month " also consists of various Indonesian recipes.
"Essentially, Indonesian recipes vary, some are sweet, salty, red, yellow, some are gravy. That's all that's different, but all of them can grow into a lot," said Sisca.
The book " 30 Menus for 1 Month " contains 210 Sisca's signature recipes which include breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner.
This 228-page book can be purchased directly at all Gramedia Bookstores and e-commerce for IDR 136,000.
Through her recipe book this time, the cook, nicknamed the Queen of Indonesian Food, hopes to help home cooks create practical daily menus.
"So according to my ability, I made the recipes in the book with ingredients that are easy to get, easy to make, and the appearance is tantalizing. So anyone who sees it will want to taste it," he added.
The same thing was conveyed by his friends who came directly to the book launch event.
"I think this book should be owned by every family because it will make it easier to cook at home to get ideas. Because one of the most complicated things is creating daily menus," said Chef Bara Raoul Pattiradjawane.
"So we really have to develop Indonesian food. One of them is through Mrs. Sisca because her followers are extraordinary, right," said Chef Yongki Gunawan.
30 Menus for 1 Month Chinese Food , Salad & Vegetable , Easiest Breakfast Recipes , and Stir Fry Recipes are recipe books that have been written by Sisca Soewitomo previously.
Some of them are included in the list of best-selling cookbooks at the Gramedia Bookstore.
