Sausage stir fry ingredients

  • 6 sausages, sliced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves of red onion, sliced
  • 2 red chilies, sliced
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Powdered broth to taste
  • Pepper powder to taste
  • Onions to taste

How to make stir fry sausage in Hong Kong sauce

  1. Hong Kong sauce : prepare a wok or sauce pan. Pour in the water and add the oyster sauce, sugar, and cornstarch solution. Cook until boiling and thick. Remove and set aside.
  2. Prepare a nonstick skillet. Pour enough cooking oil, heat it. Saute the onions, shallots and red chilies. Saute until wilted and fragrant.
  3. Add sausage, cook until tender. Add beaten eggs, cook until cooked. Add sugar, salt, powdered broth, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Add scallions, cook briefly. Remove and serve stir-fried Hong Kong sauce sausage with white rice.
