Sago noodle soup recipe

Ingredients for sago noodles:

  • 250 gr Sapapua sago flour
  • 300 gr
  • three quarter tsp lime juice
Soto mie complementary ingredients:

  • 100 gr beef
  • 40 gr or half a potato
  • 20 g or a quarter of a tomato
  • a quarter of a lime
  • 300 ml of soto sauce to taste
  • Enough celery
  • Taste the onions
  • Taste the fried onions

How to make sago noodles:

1. Mix 200 grams of sago flour with 250 ml of water.

2. Cook the sago flour that has been mixed with water until thickened,

then lift.

3. Stir the dough using a mixer on medium speed.

4. Add 50 grams of sago flour and stir until evenly distributed.

5. Add lime juice to the mixture, then mix well.

6. Print the dough into a sheet using a printer, sprinkle sago flour on the dough so it doesn't stick.

7. Print the noodles by passing the dough on the noodle printing machine.

8. Noodles are ready to be processed by boiling in boiling water for 5-10 seconds. Noodles can be stored in the refrigerator for two weeks. 

How to make sago noodle soup :

1. Boil the meat until tender, for 1-2 hours (can add salt, broth,

and garlic), then cut into thin strips and set aside.

2. Peel and clean the potatoes, cut into cubes, then fry until cooked.

3. Dice the tomatoes and sago risole, then finely chop the celery and scallions.

4. Boil the sago noodles for 10 seconds, remove and rinse with cold water.

5. Add the soto sauce that is still warm, add the pieces of meat, potatoes,

tomatoes, sago risole, leeks, and celery

6. Add lemon zest and fried onions as a complement

7. Serve while warm.
