Welcoming Jakarta's Birthday, This Hotel Has a Betawi Culinary Week Promo
The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta held a promo themed Betawi food with the theme "A Week in Batavia".
This promo is held from Thursday (16/6/2022) to Thursday (23/6/2022) in commemoration of Jakarta's 495th anniversary.

Some of the menus that will be served include gado-gado, typical Jakarta pickles, rujak juhi, betawi laksa, egg crust, Jakarta noodle soup, Betawi rice uduk, beef stew, and krecek vegetable red snapper.

Eric said that in addition to commemorating Jakarta's anniversary, the presentation of Betawi specialties also aims to bring back Betawi cuisine and introduce it to hotel guests.

Eric said that every guest at the hotel and Langoon Cafee will be able to enjoy all Betawi specialties provided at a price of IDR 495,000 for lunch and dinner.
Collaborate with local MSMEs
In addition to promoting local cuisine, The Sultan Hotel & Residence also collaborates with the DKI Jakarta provincial government to collaborate with local MSMEs.
"There are ten MSMEs fostered by JakPreneur DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in the form of Betawi snacks and handicrafts which were also brought to enliven this event," explained I Nyoman.
In addition to introducing local MSME products to the Indonesian people, culinary and handicrafts are also present to be introduced to ambassadors from various countries.
Several ambassadors who attended the event came from Palestine, Morocco, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and East Leste.
