Javanese fried rice recipe
Javanese fried rice ingredients:
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 cloves of red onion
  • 3 chilies (to taste)
  • 2 hazelnuts
  • 10 grams of brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon shrimp paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon flavoring
  • Pepper powder to taste
  • 50 grams of mustard greens
  • 50 grams of bean sprouts
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sweet soy sauce
  • 300 grams of white rice
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • 100 ml of water
  • 50 grams of chicken
How to make Javanese fried rice

1. Puree the garlic, onion, chili, candlenut, brown sugar, shrimp paste, salt, and seasoning. Then stir-fry the ground spices using oil until fragrant and turn brown in color. Set aside.

2. Boil the chicken in water until the chicken is tender and the chicken stock comes out. Set aside the broth and shredded chicken.

3. Saute the ground spices then add three tablespoons of chicken stock. After that, add the mustard greens, bean sprouts, shredded chicken, and rice, then cook while stirring.

4. Add the sweet soy sauce and soy sauce, then stir again until well blended. After that add the eggs and cook again while stirring until cooked. Serve Javanese fried rice with the addition of fried eggs and fried onions.
