Petai fried rice recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp oil, for frying
  • 2 tbsp unsalted , for frying
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 100 grams of boiled tripe, cut into squares
  • 1 1/2 red chilies, finely sliced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 4 tbsp ebi chili
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 300 grams of white rice
  • 1 plantain, cut
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp flavoring, if you like
Ebi chili ingredients:
  • 1 tomato, cut
  • 15 grams of garlic
  • 25 grams of red onion
  • 250 grams of red chili
  • 20 grams of cayenne pepper
  • 5 tbsp oil, for frying
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp flavoring, if you like
  • 20 grams of ebi, puree
  • 50 ml of water
  • 2 lemons, take the water

How to make petai fried rice:

1. Sambal ebi : Saute tomatoes, garlic, shallots, red chilies, and cayenne pepper with three tablespoons of oil, until fragrant.

Add salt, sugar, flavoring, and ebi, mix well. Remove and allow to cool slightly. Puree into a blender jar with water until smooth.

Saute again with two tablespoons of oil, until the water shrinks and thickens, remove from heat. Add lime juice, stir and ready to use.

2. Fried rice : Heat oil and butter, pour in the beaten eggs while stirring until they become scrambled eggs.

Add the tripe, red chili, soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, ebi sauce, and sweet soy sauce, mix well.

3. Add rice and petai, stir. Add salt, pepper powder, and seasoning, stir, cook until cooked and the spices are absorbed. Lift.

4. Serve warm.
