Petai Beef Liver Recipe, Easy to Make for Families at Home


Here is a recipe for beef liver cooked with petai.

  • 350 grams of beef liver, boiled, cut into squares
  • 10 petai eyes, split in 2 parts
  • 2 cm galangal, bruised
  • 1 lemongrass stalk, take the white part, bruised
  • 2 candies
  • 2 large red chilies, sliced ​​oblique
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1000 ml coconut milk from 1/2 coconut
  • 2 tablespoons oil for frying
Ground spices 
  • 5 red onions
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 6 curly red chilies
  • 2 hazelnuts, roasted
Making Steps

  1. Heat the oil. Saute ground spices, galangal, lemon grass, kandis acid, and red chili until fragrant.
  2. Add beef liver. Stir until coated with spices.
  3. Add the petai, salt, and brown sugar. Stir well.
  4. Pour coconut milk. Stir well.
  5. Cook until cooked and the coconut milk is almost dry. Lift. Serve.
